Hannah Woodhouse wins best overall research poster at the IDF conference
Congratulations to Hannah Woodhouse for her recent win for best overall research poster at the International Dairy Federation conference October 16-19. Hannah, a PhD candidate in Ontario Veterinary College’s Department of Population Medicine, showcased her work in identifying the major on-farm factors contributing to free fatty acids in bulk tank milk.
Her work was selected as the overall poster winner of 89 poster submissions in seven categories and more than 20 countries.
Woodhouse also represented the Canadian dairy industry on a young producers panel at the summit for a “Future of Dairy Farming Around the Globe” discussion where she shared what Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) is doing to improve sustainability, young producer involvement and consumer awareness of high-quality dairy products.
